Issued 8:00 PM ADT 20 October 2018 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Quebec to the Bay of
Fundy then to Long Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over East Scotian Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:03 PM ADT 20 October 2018 A trough of low pressure over western waters will move to lie over
Newfoundland Sunday. Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of
the trough will become moderate to strong north to northwesterlies in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and the eastern half of
Anticosti.
