Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:49 AM AST 25 February 2018 A trough of low pressure will approach the western marine district
this evening then move slowly eastward to lie over the eastern marine
district Monday evening. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will
develop ahead of the trough then shift to strong northwesterlies in
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian
Slope, Banquereau and Laurentian Fan. Freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
