Issued 3:16 PM AST 6 January 2025 A weakening low pressure system over Southeastern Newfoundland willremain nearly stationary today and tonight. Gale to storm force west
to northwest winds over the eastern district will slowly subside into
this evening.
Marine interests are advised gale warnings are in effect for eastern
shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, East Scotian Slope,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen,
and Northumberland Strait - eastern half.
Marine interests are also advised that all freezing spray warnings
have been ended.
