Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:57 PM ADT 18 October 2018 A deepening low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will
continue to move slowly away from the region tonight. Gale force
northwesterly winds in the wake of this low will become storm force
over some waters this evening. Winds will diminish from west to east
on Friday as a ridge of high pressure moves in.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait and Gulf-Magdalen. Gale warnings are in effect for all
