By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday intensifying cold front located from
Quebec to Long Island.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday cold front located from Anticosti Island
to Eastern Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:59 PM AST 27 February 2024 A strong cold front will approach slowly from the west on Wednesday.
Strong to gale force southerlies will spread across the district
ahead of this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half, and Anticosti.
