By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:53 PM NDT 22 September 2026 A low pressure system northeast of the Grand Banks will continue tointensify as it tracks northeastward tonight. Strong to gale force
north to northwesterlies in its wake will diminish on Wednesday
morning as the low moves away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
