Issued 8:00 PM NDT 11 September 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Great Northern Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Saturday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday approaching ridge located over New
England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM NDT 11 September 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Great Northern Peninsula will sweep
across the marine district tonight and Saturday before departing
Saturday evening. Strong to gale force westerlies ahead of the trough
will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Belle Isle Bank, and Funk Island
Bank.
