Issued 3:00 AM NST 20 February 2018 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Funk Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today departing ridge located off the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today trough located over southeastern Labrador.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located east of Funk Island Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NST 20 February 2018 A trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador will cross over
northern waters today. Strong to gale force southwesterlies ahead of
this system will veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its
wake. Winds are expected to diminish tonight as a ridge approaches
from the west.

Marine interests are advised a gale warning is in effect for Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, East
Coast, and the Grand Banks.
