Issued 9:30 AM NST 6 November 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located from the East Labrador Sea
to the St. Lawrence River.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Saturday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Funk Island Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 988 mb located northwest of Hudson Bay.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 993 mb located over Baffin Island.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line east-west over
northern Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday ridge located from Quebec to Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:27 AM NST 6 November 2026 A low pressure system will track northwest of the district as a ridge
of high pressure builds over the Labrador Sea from the west. Strong
to gale force southwesterlies will develop between these two features
over northwestern waters overnight tonight.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
