Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over western Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 999 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 994 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:27 PM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system just northeast of Newfoundland will continue
northeastward across the Belle Isle Bank tonight before departing out
to sea on Tuesday. Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies are
expected over most waters as the low tracks southeast of the
district.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.
