Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:29 AM NST 17 February 2019 A low pressure system over the North Labrador Coast will dissipate
this morning. Later today an intensifying low moving northwards from
Newfoundland will become the dominant system for the remainder of the
forecast period. Gale to storm force winds are forecast for today and
Monday with these features.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville where a gale warning is in effect.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
