By 9:30 p.m. NST Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching trough located over the
Maritimes.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:29 PM NST 10 December 2025 A trough of low pressure located over the Labrador Sea will slowlytrack southward tonight and weaken on Thursday. Strong to gale force
west to southwesterlies will diminish south of the trough tonight.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast -
Hopedale and south, and South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
