Issued 9:17 AM NST 2 January 2025 A trough of low pressure over the Cabot Strait will slowly crossNewfoundland today and tonight then move to lie over the Labrador
coast by Friday afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will
develop over all waters tonight and Friday ahead of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.
