over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today approaching low 989 mb located over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:51 AM NST 24 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Northwest Labrador Sea will drift
eastward today to lie over the East Labrador Sea tonight.
An approaching area of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence
will track along the trough tonight and Sunday.
Moderate to strong northwesterlies west of the trough will increase
to strong to gale force tonight as the low tracks north along the
trough. Winds will diminish late Sunday as the low tracks over
