Issued 9:30 PM NST 8 December 2023 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 947 mb located east
of Belle Isle Bank.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday approaching ridge located from Ungava
Bay to New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 PM NST 8 December 2023 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will remain nearly
stationary throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
northeast to northwesterlies will persist tonight and diminish
Saturday as a ridge begins to move in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except East Labrador Sea - northwestern half.
