Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today deepening low 1008 mb located over northern
Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday quasi-stationary low 980 mb located north
of Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:47 PM NDT 26 April 2025 A deepening low pressure system over Northern Quebec will crossUngava Bay this evening before moving to lie north of the marine
district on Sunday. Over northern waters, strong to gale force
southerlies ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale force
westerlies as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea -
northern half.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
