Issued 8:00 PM NDT 11 June 2026 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight intensifying trough located from the
Northeast Coast of Newfoundland to the Maritimes.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday quasi-stationary low 996 mb located over
Funk Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:51 PM NDT 11 June 2026 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Northeast Coast of
Newfoundland to the Maritimes will intensify into a low as it crosses
Newfoundland and moves out over Funk Island Bank tonight. The low
will then become nearly stationary. Gale force northeasterlies to
northwesterlies will develop Friday afternoon around the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
