By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight dissipating ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Funk Island Bank.
At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 999 mb located over northeastern New
Brunswick.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Sunday low 998 mb located over the Strait of
Belle Isle.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:27 PM NDT 28 May 2022 A low pressure system approaching from the west will tracknortheastward to lie over Belle Isle Bank by Sunday evening. Strong
to gale force east to southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low
before diminishing and becoming southwesterly in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast- Cape St.
Francis and south, and Southern Grand Banks.
