At 10:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:47 AM NDT 22 September 2021 A trough of low pressure stretching across the Labrador Sea combined
with a ridge of high pressure to the southeast of Newfoundland will
continue to generate gale force southwesterlies over the Strait of
Belle Isle today.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
