At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 994 mb located over northern Labrador
Coast.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Thursday low 985 mb located southeast of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NDT 16 September 2026 A low pressure system over the North Labrador Coast will continue
tracking eastward across Labrador Sea tonight and Thursday. Strong
southwesterly winds ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies over northern waters in its wake on Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
