At 4:00 p.m. NDT today deepening low 985 mb located over southern
Ontario.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday approaching low 955 mb located over
northern Quebec.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:49 PM NDT 16 March 2026 A deepening low pressure system will approach the district onTuesday. Gale to storm force southerly to easterly winds will develop
over all waters ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
