By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 974 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today dissipating ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Issued 9:51 AM NDT 1 April 2025 A low pressure system near Anticosti Island will intensify asIt tracks across the Quebec Lower North Shore to lie over Belle Isle
Bank on Wednesday morning. Strong to gale force east to
northeasterlies will develop ahead of the low this evening and
strengthen to storm to hurricane force north to northwesterlies as
the low intensifies over the South Labrador Sea on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea. Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
