Issued 9:30 PM NST 11 December 2019 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 968 mb located overthe East Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Thursday departing trough located southeast of
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:19 PM NST 11 December 2019 A low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will remain nearlystationary through the remainder of the forecast period.
An associated trough will move southward across the South Labrador
Sea tonight. Gale to storm force west to northwesterlies can be
expected over all waters with these features.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea -
southern half, and East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
