Issued 3:47 AM NDT 24 April 2026 A low pressure system southwest of the Grand Banks will slowly movenortheastward during the forecast period, while a ridge of high
pressure remains nearly stationary over Baffin Island. Winds will
strengthen to strong to gale force northerlies across the marine
district on Saturday between these two features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
