central South Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 964 mb located
southeast of Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NST Tuesday approaching ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:07 PM NST 22 January 2018 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will remain nearly
stationary as a ridge of high pressure slowly approaches from the
southwest. Gale force northwesterlies can be expected over western
waters between these two systems tonight into Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
