Issued 9:30 PM NDT 11 April 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 999 mb located over the
southern Grand Banks.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday deepening low 989 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the North Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 PM NDT 11 April 2026 A low pressure system over the Southern Grand Banks will track across
the Grand Banks tonight and intensify on Sunday east of Funk Island
Bank, where it will remain nearly stationary. Strong to gale force
northwesterly to northerly winds will develop over southern waters
late Sunday as a result of this low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
