Issued 4:00 AM NDT 20 April 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying trough located over central
Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over eastern
Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 AM NDT 20 April 2026 An intensifying trough of low pressure over Central Labrador will
slowly move east to lie over the Labrador Sea by overnight tonight,
while a ridge of high pressure over Eastern Greenland remains nearly
stationary. Gale to storm force south to southeasterlies ahead of the
trough will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. A gale warning is in effect for Northwest Labrador
Sea.
