Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:43 AM NST 21 February 2019 An intense low pressure system east of the marine district willmaintain gale force northwesterlies over most areas tonight.
Winds will gradually diminish on Thursday over coastal waters as the
low weakens and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
