Issued 9:30 PM NST 21 December 2024 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 975 mb located over theWest Coast of Newfoundland.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 974 mb located south of Greenland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:18 PM NST 21 December 2024 A rapidly intensifying low pressure system will approach from thesouth tonight and track southeast of the marine district on Sunday.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies will spread over all waters
ahead of the low. Over southernmost waters, winds will further
increase to gale to storm force northerlies by Sunday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
