Issued 10:00 AM NST 22 November 2017 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 998 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.
By 3:30 p.m. NST today weakening low 1005 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Thursday approaching low 990 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line north-south
over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:34 AM NST 22 November 2017 A low pressure system just east of the Funk Island Bank will weaken
as it drifts southeastward today. Gale to storm force northwesterlies
over eastern waters will gradually diminish today as the low weakens.

An intense low pressure system will then approach from the southwest
tonight and track northeastward over the gulf Thursday. Gale force
southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low Thursday morning.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that there is potential for high
waves and pounding surf along the Southwest Coast near noon and into
the afternoon on Thursday which may result in minor coastal flooding.
