Issued 8:00 PM NST 28 November 2022 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 980 mb located over the
Southwest Coast of Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday low 969 mb located northeast of the
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday approaching ridge located on a line
north-south over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:57 PM NST 28 November 2022 An intensifying low pressure system located over the Southwest Coast
of Newfoundland will continue to track northeastwards across Eastern
Newfoundland tonight to lie over Funk Island Bank by Tuesday morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies to southwesterlies ahead of the
low will shift to strong to gale force northeasterlies to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
