Issued 4:00 AM NDT 27 April 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 995 mb located northeast ofCape Chidley.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 980 mb located north
of Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:58 AM NDT 27 April 2025 A deepening low pressure system near Cape Chidley will move to lienorth of the marine district today, where it will remain nearly
stationary before slowly moving eastward and weakening on Monday.
Over northern waters, strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the
low will shift to gale to storm force west to northwesterlies today
as it passes. Winds will gradually diminish on Monday as the low
weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for North
Labrador Coast and East Labrador Sea - northern half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
