over the Mid Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the North Labrador Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 970 mb located south
of Lake Melville.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:24 PM NST 3 March 2021 A trough of low pressure over southern waters will move to lie over
the North Labrador Coast on Thursday. Meanwhile, a low pressure
system near the Strait of Belle Isle will drift slowly westward.
Gale to storm force east to northeasterly winds can be expected to
the north of the trough. With strong to gale force southeasterly to
northeasterly winds elsewhere.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
