Issued 4:00 AM NST 21 January 2019 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NST today departing low 988 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 985 mb located over the Maritimes.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary low 987 mb located over
the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM NST 21 January 2019 Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies over the Labrador Sea
will diminish this morning as a low pressure system east of Greenland
moves further away.

An elongated area of low pressure over the Maritimes will span from
the Gulf of St. Lawrence to Belle Isle Bank by this evening, where it
will remain nearly stationary throughout the forecast period. Strong
to gale force northeasterlies will develop ahead of this feature over
southern waters today and will persist on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
