By 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday cold front located on a line north-south
over Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located east of Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
eastern Greenland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 4:00 PM NDT 19 April 2026 A trough of low pressure over Western Labrador will intensify andslowly move east to lie over the Labrador Sea on Monday, while a
ridge of high pressure establishes itself over Eastern Greenland.
Gale to storm force southerlies will develop east of the trough on
Monday and shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies west of it.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. A gale warning is in effect for Northwest Labrador
Sea.
