Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM NST 15 November 2025 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. NST today low 984 mb located over Northeast Gulf.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 989 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.

At 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday approaching low 979 mb located west of
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM NST 15 November 2025 A low pressure system over the Northeast Gulf will continue to track
north and west this morning to lie over the Quebec Lower North Shore
by this afternoon. Gale force easterlies can be expected east and
north of the low.

Another low pressure system will approach Newfoundland from the
southwest late on Sunday. Strong to gale force south to
southeasterlies will develop over southern waters as this low
approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Southwest Coast, East Coast - north of Cape St.
Francis, Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
