By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough located on a line north-south over
the Avalon Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:41 AM NDT 14 April 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Cabot Strait will continue to
gradually track eastward throughout the forecast period. Strong to
gale force southerly winds ahead of the trough will shift to strong
southwesterlies in its wake on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half, Northeast Gulf,
Northeast Coast.
