Issued 3:30 PM ADT 11 March 2026 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today high located from Quebec to Cabot Strait.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing ridge from high located from
Labrador to Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Thursday low 990 mb located west of New Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Thursday low 991 mb located east of Anticosti
Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:18 PM ADT 11 March 2026 A low pressure system will approach the marine district from the west
tonight and cross the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Thursday. Strong to
gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low and shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Fundy, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen -
northwestern half, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti - southern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters except Northumberland
Strait.
