At 3:00 a.m. AST today low 997 mb located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today departing low 988 mb located over northern
Banquereau.
At 8:00 p.m. AST Friday approaching ridge located west of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:31 AM AST 25 February 2021 A low pressure system over Maine will track eastward to lie overNorthern Banquereau this afternoon. This low will bring gale to storm
force westerlies south of the system and gale to storm force
northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters. Freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwestern shore, LaHave
Bank, eastern shore, Sable, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
