Snow tonight. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Temperatures minus 5 rising to zero Sunday afternoon then falling to minus 10 Sunday evening.

Issued 3:30 PM AST 27 February 2021 Tonight and Sunday At 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located over the eastern Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 1010 mb located over northern New
England.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Sunday intensifying low 995 mb located near Port
aux Basques.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM AST 27 February 2021 A low pressure system will develop over New England this evening and
intensify as it tracks eastward across the marine district tonight
and Sunday. Strong to gale force southerly winds will develop ahead
of the low tonight, shifting to strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except for Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf
Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
