northeast-southwest over Nova Scotia.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday low 995 mb located south of Long Island.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 990 mb located near Browns Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 989 mb located over Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM ADT 20 March 2025 A low pressure system is forecast to approach the region from the
west on Friday and track across Nova Scotia Friday night. Strong to
gale force northwest winds are expected in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank and West Scotian Slope.
