District.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday ridge located east of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 988 mb located near James Bay.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Saturday trough from 983 mb low located over
Quebec extending southward.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM ADT 19 October 2018 A low pressure system will approach the Maritimes from the west
tonight. Strong to gale force southerly winds will develop over all
waters on Saturday as the system approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and the eastern half of
Anticosti.
