Issued 8:00 PM ADT 25 August 2019 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight high 1029 mb located northeast of the
Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Monday high 1029 mb located southeast of
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1016 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday deepening low 1008 mb located over East
Scotian Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM ADT 25 August 2019 A low pressure system south of the slope waters will begin to
intensify and move slowly northward to lie over East Scotian Slope
late Monday afternoon. As the low approaches, easterly winds will
intensify to strong to gale force. At this time, due to uncertainty
in the track of this system, it is possible that gales may be
extended to areas further north and west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Fourchu, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Banquereau - southern half and Laurentian Fan.
