Issued 8:00 PM ADT 22 October 2018 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from Labrador to the
St. Lawrence River.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Tuesday trough located from Labrador Sea to
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight building ridge located southwest of the
Marine District.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Tuesday ridge located south of the Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1010 mb located north of the Great
Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Tuesday deepening low 1010 mb located near
Cape Cod.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:46 PM ADT 22 October 2018 A low pressure system will approach the district from the west on
Tuesday reaching Cape Cod by Tuesday evening. The disturbance will
then start to intensify before tracking northeastward. Strong to gale
force southerly winds will develop ahead of this system over western
waters late on Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank and West Scotian Slope.
