Issued 3:00 AM AST 13 December 2019 Today Tonight and Saturday At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday intensifying low 1004 mb located nearCape Hatteras.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday low 990 mb located over New England.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Saturday trough from 990 mb low located over
the Gulf of Maine.
At 3:00 a.m. AST today ridge located from Browns Bank to the
Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located from Laurentian Fan to the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:44 AM AST 13 December 2019 Strong northwesterly winds over northern waters today will diminishas a ridge builds into the region from the west. Moderate to strong
southerlies will develop over western waters late in the day today.
Winds will continue to strengthen throughout the day Saturday to
become gale force south to southeasterlies by Saturday evening as a
low pressure system approaches from the southwest.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Chaleur - Miscou - western half.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou - eastern
half, and Anticosti.
