By 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough from 982 mb low located over Quebec
extending southward.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough from low located from Cabot Strait
to Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough from low located from Newfoundland
to Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:54 AM ADT 20 October 2018 As a low pressure system approaches the Maritimes from Quebec today,
strong to gale force southerly winds will develop over western waters
this morning and spread to eastern waters by this afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope,
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, and the eastern half of
Anticosti.
