Issued 10:00 AM ADT 10 May 2024 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low located over Laurentian Fan.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Saturday departing trough from low located south
of Laurentian Fan.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 998 mb located southwest of the Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 992 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:11 PM ADT 10 May 2024 A low pressure system will develop southwest of the marine district
on Saturday and intensify as it tracks northeastward. The disturbance
is forecast to lie south of West Scotian Slope by Saturday evening.
Strong to gale force northeasterly winds will spread across
southernmost marine waters.

Mariners are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Georges
Bank - southern half, West Scotian Slope - southern half and East
Scotian Slope - southern half.
