By 3:00 a.m. AST Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:49 AM AST 6 November 2024 A trough of low pressure will track eastward across the Gulf of St
Lawrence today and will lie east of Newfoundland tonight. Strong to
gale force west to southwest winds are expected south of the trough
today and tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, Sable,
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau - southern half and Laurentian Fan.
