Issued 3:00 AM AST 15 December 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 3:00 a.m. AST today intensifying low 987 mb located near
Sable Island.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 944 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:45 AM AST 15 December 2025 An intensifying low pressure system near Sable Island will track
northeastward to lie east of Newfoundland by Monday evening. Gale to
possibly storm force southwest winds over the southeastern slope
waters will shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies behind the
low.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and
Anticosti.
