Lakes.
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from the Quebec Lower
North Shore to West Scotian Slope.
At 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday departing trough located from Labrador
Coast to Laurentian Fan.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:38 AM ADT 11 March 2025 A low pressure system will approach the district from the west todayand its associated trough will move over marine waters tonight.
Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of the trough will shift
to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and
Anticosti. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Gulf-Magdalen,
Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
