Issued 10:00 AM AST 25 November 2024 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today departing low 984 mb located over
Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over the East Coast of
the U.S.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:09 PM AST 25 November 2024 A low pressure system over Newfoundland will continue to move away
from the region today. Strong to gale force winds associated with the
low will weaken today and tonight. A ridge will move across the
district Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, Laurentian Fan, Gulf Magdalen - northern
half, and Anticosti- southeastern half.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.

Tuesday..Winds light in the morning increasing to southeast 15 in the
afternoon and southeast 20 in the evening. Seas near 1 metre building
to 1 to 2 metres in the evening.

Wednesday..Winds westerly 25 knots diminishing to west 20 in the
evening. Seas 2 to 3 metres.
