At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 1002 mb located over Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday low 1000 mb located southeast of Nova
Scotia.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:47 PM AST 11 November 2024 A low pressure system currently over Anticosti Island is trackingtoward the northeast. Strong to gale force southerly winds are
expected to diminish over southeastern waters tonight.
A second low pressure system over Maine tonight will move to lie
southeast of Nova Scotia by Tuesday evening. Gale force northerlies
will develop behind this low Tuesday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, East Scotian Slope, Laurentian Fan,
Northumberland Strait and Gulf-Magdalen - western half.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
